"I received Chiropractic care from Karen for a very painful sciatica in my left leg in April 2015.
I received relief after only one Chiropractic adjustment. After only 3 Chiropractic adjustments, my sciatica was almost gone.
I really appreciate Karen's work. Her approach to my issue was methodical and highly Professional, and has had remarkable success.
I definitely recommend her!"

Chiropractic is a non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the neuromusculoskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on general health. Chiropractors practice a manual approach, providing treatment and preventive care for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system and joints (back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, headaches, etc.).1,2
The most common therapeutic procedure performed by doctors of chiropractic is known as “spinal manipulation,” also called “chiropractic adjustment.” The purpose of manipulation is to restore joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force into joints that have become hypomobile – or restricted in their movement – as a result of a tissue injury. Tissue injury can be caused by a single traumatic event, such as improper lifting of a heavy object, or through repetitive stresses, such as sitting in an awkward position with poor spinal posture for an extended period of time. In either case, injured tissues undergo physical and chemical changes that can cause inflammation, pain, and diminished function for the sufferer. Manipulation, or adjustment of the affected joint and tissues, restores mobility, thereby alleviating pain and muscle tightness, and allowing tissues to heal.2
We will assess the specific needs of the individual client by taking a complete history and physical exam consisting of various orthopedic and baseline neurologic tests. We then come up with a comprehensive treatment/management plan which often includes therapeutic exercises and other lifestyle adjustment recommendations.
